Reviews

4 nurses trained together in the early 90's in a London hospital. Now almost 30 years later, they gather together with their hubby's for a weekend of reminiscing and making new memories. This house was the perfect venue for such a gathering. The house is everything you need for a relaxing stay: it is finished and furnished to the highest of standards. Although an old building, it is updated and very contemporary and quirky. Each bedroom is large and spacious. 2 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the second floor. The second floor bedrooms have no doors to them! One has a heavy curtain and the other you can put up screens to further separate yourself. (told you it was quirky) because of the design of the floor, privacy is not an issue. THE second floor has stunning full length floor to ceiling windows with views over to the castle. There is also access to one of the two spacious balcanoys in the property. THE location is superb. 1 min walk to the castle and 1 min walk to a lovely tea shop. Towns market square is a 5 min walk. THE owner is very helpful and accommodating. Our party suddenly had to have one our kids join us at the last moment. This did not phase our host, who provided us with a camp bed and extra bedding and the house has so much space to hide an extra bed in!!!! If there is a slight criticism it would be the lack of parking. The property has a garage which takes a standard hatchback comfortably. There is a house parking permit for one additional car. Any other cars have to find spaces in local car parks and pay for parking: £4.50 for 24 hours. But this is a small inconvenience for such a great property. Enjoy.

Great accommodation, excellently equipped with everything you need. Spotlessly clean. Great location for all attractions and amenities in Warwick. Morning sun on the terrace ideal for breakfast with view of towers from the castle. Our host Peter was very informative and welcoming. Will definitely return.......what a gem!

This is a truly great holiday rental. It has everything any group could possibly need, is spotless and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the showers are excellent. The highlight is the first floor outdoor decking area, a gorgeous sun-trap that easily accommodated our party of 6 for a relaxed lunch. When the sun disappeared from here, we moved to the second floor to catch more sunshine on the second floor balcony....really lovely. Peter could not have been more welcoming...quickly showed us round and pointed out key features and little details we might not have worked out for ourselves. Parking available in the garage and an additional car outside with a parking permit. Perfect weekend venue, easily the best accommodation we have stayed in for past 15 years of this kind of break.
