An absolutely beautiful little holiday to Ivy’s Way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Situated in the beautiful countryside of Rhayader. It was all we could ever have wished for, a peaceful, private retreat with everything you need and a private hot tub as a bonus. Surrounded by fields, sheep and 3 donkeys down the road, it really is the perfect place to go to relax and enjoy yourself. The view of the beautiful Welsh countryside was out of this world. The shepherds hut named Ivy’s Way was perfect. A double bed, log burner, shower room and kitchen; there’s nothing else you need. We definitely need to brush up on our fire starting skills before our next visit. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars, after a beautiful meal at one of the many local pubs, was truly a highlight of our perfect stay. I absolutely recommend staying here and rate it a very high 10/10! Thank you so much for having us and allowing us to have the most perfect weekend away.
Stunning shepherds hut. The owners have thought of everything. Despite the snow and wind we had the hut remained warm and cosy and hot tub was fab! Our boxer dog also loved the enclosed garden and saying hello to the sheep. Not to many off lead dog works in the area due to the farm life but we found a park in the village and some woods in elan valley. The views from the hut are beautiful and it's fantastic to see the red kites flying over head. We left a lot of bits in the car and our clothes in small bags under the bed. The shower is ample size and log burner is great too. Perfect for peace and to relax.
