This detached bungalow is situated near to the owner's home on a peaceful lane just moments away from Haughmond Hill, and eight miles out of Shrewsbury. All ground floor, Highbury Cottage is a cosy place to visit, suited for couples wishing to simply relax, or those with sight-seeing adventures on the horizon. Wandering inside this retreat, you will feel the sense of warmth and tradition oozing through the old-fashioned furnishings, from the lounge with its comfy sofas, to the dining area which seats four people - you will feel right at home. There is a warmly decorated family bathroom benefiting from a shower over the bath, and the country cottage kitchen is a lovely little addition to Highbury. Come night time, snuggle up in the double bedroom which compliments the theme of the cottage wholeheartedly, with traditional oak pine, ample storage, including a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Outside make use of the garden and seating area, with this retreat being a lovely base for touring, and walking the beautiful location. Shrewsbury offers a lovely selection of independent and high street shops, along with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs to leave you spoilt for choice. Shrewsbury Castle is a must see, and further afield, visit NT's stately Attingham Park, an elegant 18th century mansion, Wroxeter Roman City, and the museums at Ironbridge.
