We have just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at Stable View Cottage and both myself and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was immaculately clean with tea, coffee, milk, and sugar together with ginger biscuits waiting for us on arrival. The hot tub was ready to be used when we got there. It was very relaxing and just what the doctor ordered. The log burner was a bonus. It is so easy these days to find fault and rant over it on social media however we could not find fault with the cottage. We have no hesitation in recommending Stable View Cottage to anyone. We would love to make a return visit in the future.
We felt immediately confident of a great week of rest and relaxation on arrival. No expense had been spared in the quality of the cottage extension and facilities in this working farm accomodation. We picked a blustery week but this did not deter us from making use of the luxurious hot tub and driving to the Lakes on the one sunny day we had. Plenty to do in the area, even on a wintery week in February. Enjoyed seeing the horses, use of the log fire and a fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful setting and driving a pleasure through the pretty local villages. Highly recommended.
Booked a last minute 5 nights away. First time coming and not the last either. We had email before arrival with everything we needed to know. Directions on where to go and park where perfect. The cottage was clean on arrival, had milk in the fridge which was perfect as I needed a bru! The couches are comfy and the TV has Netflix. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Beds where comfy and the pillows where fluffy. Bathroom was good too. Had an enclosed garden perfect for a dog not wondering off and the hot tub in the garden is a lovely touch! The cottage is on a farm which is fab, watching all the horses riding and your allowed to walk your dog in the field on a lead which is a great extra too. Only one negative is the dishes where dirty from not being washed from previous guest. But the positives really over power that one negative but I would recommend this cottage to anyone and stay again defiantly!
