Access to the property is via external steps from the gated courtyard in Kellaway Court, you enter the property on the first floor walking into the open plan living area. Also, on this floor is a bedroom, there are a further 3 bedrooms upstairs. George’s House is a complete conversion of one of the old malthouses which used to belong to Devenish Brewery. Retaining most of the old malthouse features architect has sympathetically matched up ancient with modern. A private electronic entrance gate affords exclusivity for the whole development which has been tastefully completed and very well presented. With it close proximity to the harbour you will experience the numerous attractions and relaxed vibe which the Brewers Quay has to offer. With a choice of the many bistros, cafes and local inns you can enjoy a meal at or refreshing drink at any time of the day or evening. Take a walk along the harbour and admire the flotilla of fishing boats and luxury yachts moored along the harbour along with the affluent gin palaces. The old cottages which front the harbour are painted in soft colours, all of which blend into the morning sunshine and the evening sunset. Start your day as you end it with a morning stroll along the seafront or harbour. The central and secure location makes Georges House the perfect base for your family holiday.
This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
