Gone Sailing is a comfortable traditional fisherman's cottage located just a few minutes' walk from the harbourside in Weymouth. Venture into the property where you will find the open plan sitting area, which follows onto the dining area with kitchen at the rear. From the kitchen you can access the patio area through the patio doors, there you can relax, unwind and enjoy the fresh air. On the first floor of property you will find two light and airy bedrooms, along with a spacious bathroom. Just steps away from this Dorset holiday cottage is Hope Square with a choice of bistros, cafes and restaurants. The Nothe Fort and Gardens, Newton's Cove, is just a short walk away from your door step. Weymouth town centre with its excellent variety of shops and sandy beach is just a 7-minute walk away. Internally Gone Sailing is perfectly arranged as a holiday cottage, ideal for families with its sociable open plan ground floor with through lounge, diner and kitchen with patio doors to a small garden with table and chairs. Gone Sailing is perfectly positioned for a holiday with beaches, restaurants and the pretty old harbour just minutes' walk away.
This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.

Gone Sailing is a little terraced cottage close to the harbour and Nothe Fort. It had everything that we needed and was a cosy little base to come back to. The kitchen is well equipped and it was lovely to sit in the courtyard in the evening with a glass of wine. Bedrooms have lots of storage and bathroom is large with a good size bath and an excellent over bath shower.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
