A Victorian terraced cottage situated close to the Old Harbour in Weymouth. The wonderful Newton’s Cove and The Nothe Gardens are just a stonesthrow from the property a little beach area and promenade with stunning views. A cosy, comfortable cottage which is perfect for couples or a small family looking for a holiday home close to the town centre and main beach, yet it is still away from all hustle and bustle of the town. Not only being close to everything the property accepts two well-behaved dogs, so your furry family members can come on holiday too. Make the best of the property and you are welcome to use the BBQ stored in the shed in the patio area. Enjoy a cold drink and have a lazy afternoon in the sunshine. After a busy day exploring, why not, cosy up in the sitting room with a book, and sit by the wood burning stove and drift off asleep. Weymouth has many activities for you to choose from. Stroll around Brewers Quay, with its variety of restaurants, cafes and friendly pubs, perfect for a alfresco lunch or a nice evening dinner. A visit to Weymouth’s museum, Tudor house and little quirky shops with souvenirs to take home is worth it. The picturesque harbour with its colourful boats, traditional harbourside cottages, and stunning views, is just a short stroll away. Enjoy a trip out by taking a fishing boat trip on the quayside or a sightseeing tour along the Jurassic coast towards Isle of Portland, Lulworth Cove or Durdle Door. Should you choose to go further afield, you'll find a whole host of attractions, activities and places to explore - from Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens to some skiing at Warmwell and exploring the beautiful Kimmeridge bay and Chapman’s Pool just down the coast. This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.
