4 West Park Mews is just a few minutes' easy walk from the centre of Hope Cove with its family friendly sandy beaches, inn, restaurant and store. There is quick access also to the South West Coastal Path which runs through the village, and the popular town of Salcombe is a short drive away. From the entrance hallway there is access to a ground floor twin bedroom and stairs which lead up to the open plan living accommodation with oak flooring. The sitting area has a sofa and two comfortable armchairs, 32" Flat screen TV, DVD player, Wii games console and an iPod dock whilst a door leads out to South-facing roof terrace with table and chairs. The dining area has a table which seats six comfortably meanwhile the well-equipped kitchen has granite work surfaces, a larder, four-ring ceramic hob, Nespresso coffee machine, electric oven and grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. The first-floor master bedroom has a King-size bed, plenty of storage and a 19" digital TV with DVD player. The twin bedroom has two 3' single beds, plenty of storage and a 19" Digital TV with integrated DVD player. The bathroom has a bath, shower (over), hand basin, w.c., shaver point and heated towel rail. In addition to the terrace is a fenced front garden. There is allocated parking for one car however additional visitors’ spaces may be available. As a baby friendly property, a travel cot and high chair are available however guests will have to provide their own cot linen.

The picturesque fishing village of Hope Cove lies in a sheltered bay on South Devon’s coastline, offering superb views over Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. A choice destination for families, two beaches offer soft sand for sandcastle building, plus rock pools great for entertaining children. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants, including the popular café bar ‘The Cove’. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards the sandy beaches of Thurlestone and Bigbury-on-Sea in one direction, and the sailing town of Salcombe in the other.
