Little Cotton Farmhouse is a beautifully presented house set within three acres of land, enjoying stunning rural views. Situated just a short drive from Dartmouth and the Start Bay coastline, it is a perfect retreat for couples and families, and enjoys shared facilities such as a grassed play area. The property is arranged over three floors, with a spacious entrance leading to a bright and comfortably furnished sitting room, enjoying double doors leading onto a sunny patio area. The kitchen/dining room is modern, whilst retaining many original farmhouse features. It is well equipped, including a large dining table seating ten, and further additional seating in the (former) fireplace! The bright, relaxing sunroom leads out from the kitchen, with views over the fields and play area. Adjacent to the sunroom is the utility room, also well equipped. With five bedrooms in total, the farmhouse compromises a children’s room with cabin bed and single bed, a King-size double with en suite shower room, a twin with en suite shower room, a further King-size double with adjacent shower room, and a large twin room. Additionally, there is a wet room on the ground floor, and a large family bathroom, with bath and shower attachment. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided. Guests enjoy free wireless broadband. Child friendly, the property provides extensive baby equipment including travel cots, highchairs, crockery, stair-gates. Parking for 2-3 cars is provided in the adjacent courtyard.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
