Located in the idyllic countryside hamlet of Collaton, just three miles from the fishing village of Hope Cove and a five-minute drive from the popular sailing town of Salcombe, Higher Collaton Cottage is a stunning period property which has been renovated and furnished to a high standard throughout, without compromising on any original character features. Salcombe’s beautiful beaches are within easy reach, whilst the South West Coast Path is also easily accessible, providing ample walking opportunities. A stable door opens into a comfortable and cosy lounge with a feature wood burning stove. Adjoining this room is a small study area. The stunning modern kitchen leads in to a fabulous dining area, with French doors opening out onto the rear garden. The sumptuous master bedroom has been tastefully furnished with a King-size bed, ample storage space and a contemporary en suite shower room. Meanwhile the second bedroom has a double bed and lovely views over the garden. The third bedroom has twin single beds which are ideal for children. Observe the plentiful wildlife in the area, including the clifftop area of Bolberry Down, visit several country houses and gardens close by or explore the nearby market town of Kingsbridge. Alternatively, drive to the National Park at Dartmoor, just 15 miles away. A perfect holiday location, with much to see and do.

This beautiful cottage in a beautiful place is ruined by the Cockerel that wakes you up at Dawn every single day. It’s only 50 yards away. I stayed in November, windows closed, imagine how load it would be in the summer at 4.30am with your windows open
