The two-storey accommodation has been extensively remodeled in conjunction with Cheltenham-based Focus Interior Design to offer a luxurious retreat for two couples or a young family in a central location. The property is set at the end of Newcomen Road and within a very short, mostly level, walk of the historic naval town of Dartmouth. There are a number of award-winning restaurants, delightful boutiques, art galleries, cosy cafés and beautiful gardens within easy reach, as well as a range of lovely boat trips up and down the delightful River Dart from the nearby harbour front. Beautifully furnished throughout, on the ground floor are two boutique double bedrooms, both imaginatively and luxuriously decorated. The master bedroom has a King-size bed, Juliet balcony, and en suite bathroom, whilst the similarly furnished second bedroom is not en suite but has an adjacent shower room. Stairs spiral up to the open plan living accommodation, ‘The Captain’s Galley’ on the first floor. Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
