This large market town rests at the heart of the Island of Anglesey and is only 7 miles away from the beaches of Benllech and Red Wharf Bay. Within the town you will find many historical buildings, including the Town Hall and the clock tower, which sit alongside shops, bars and restaurants. Within the surrounding area you will find the charming town of Beaumaris, the Sea Zoo, Pili Butterfly Palace and Plas Newydd.

Booked a 4 night getaway on Angelsey in this apartment having visited the Island a few times during the past year. We were so disappointed when we got through the door. Firstly the place was tired looking and crying out for some love and tlc.. the walls were all marked both by stains, scuffs and wear and tear and had obviously not been decorated in some time. Whilst unpacking it was clear that not only was it tired but it also wasn’t very clean.. dirty in lots of places, dust you could write your name in and cobwebs on the walls, ceilings and light fittings. We were in two minds whether to leave there and then but as we were tired decided to stick it out and leave first thing in the morning, which is what we did. In fairness to the owners, after we informed them on the night of our arrival, they did offer to come and clean but we were tired after our journey so declined their offer. Plus.. as I’ve described, a quick clean wouldn’t have put right what we found. So, first thing we packed and left. Such a shame because the property is in a nice spot. Couple of pointers.. the dining ‘table and stools’ are not suitable for eating on or at and there were no trays. The garden ( if you have a pet like we did) can’t be accessed directly from inside the house.. you have to go out the front door and it’s adjacent through the gate which isn’t ideal if like us you prefer to allow access outside as and when. Suffice to say we won’t be going back and I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone seeking a comfortable relaxed break.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
