Reviews

We spent a week here as a family of 3 adults and 2 dogs. The cottage was well maintained and comfortable. Lots of lovely touches. Everything had been thought about. Provision of items we had not expected: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, washing tablets, books, games etc. Fully enclosed garden which our 2 labradors made the most of. We also used the enclosed dog exercise area a couple of times but after days walking in the beautiful Eden valley and beyond they were too tired and quite happy to sleep unless the peacocks came visiting then there was a need to bark at the window! The wood fired hot tub was great after lots of walking. It heated up quickly and there was everything provided to light it. The hot tub is located in a fenced area just outside of the enclosed garden. Ideally located to travel to areas of the Lake District and enjoy this wonderful part of England. Hosts were very friendly and approachable and gave us all the information we needed. Thank you for a lovely week. We hope to return.
