With sweeping coastline, towering fells and stunning landscape scenery, you won't want to miss this opportunity for a holiday. Bring your family and friends to share a memorable trip together and from the moment you arrive you won't be disappointed. To the front, just off from the entrance hall is the games room with dual aspect windows benefiting from fantastic views down towards the estuary and plenty to keep the kids entertained for an hour or two. Climb a set of steps onto the upper ground floor and find the spacious lounge, again taking advantage of the views with floor to ceiling windows set on an angle. Here you can gather around the woodburning stove set in the alcove of the room and enjoy a quiet read or a social chat with friends. This then leads round to the dining area, forming an open-plan layout, where you can catch up on your day over a steaming hot meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen next door. Patio doors open out onto the garden outside, which you can throw open on a warm summer's day and let a breeze through. The kitchen has been fitted to a quality standard, with granite worktops, Velux windows, spotlights lining the floor and a beautiful outlook into the garden as you do the washing up after dinner. There is also a handy utility with washer / dryer, and a shower room on this floor for your convenience. Upstairs is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and another set of windows at an angle, so you can wake up, enjoy your morning cup of tea and start the day fresh with a superb outlook across rolling countryside in the distance. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and three other bedrooms comprising of a double, twin and a day bed on the first level. Step out into the sunny garden to the rear of the property, which enjoys an elevated position and far-reaching views. The Langtree is very special. When we arrived it felt so welcoming, was immaculately presented and very clean throughout. One could relax immediately after the journey, however long, to get there. Ours was almost five hours! The decor throughout is calming and having three bathrooms is ideal for family groups. We thoroughly enjoyed the delightful garden which was secure and dog friendly. Exploring Arnside and the surrounding areas is a joy. If you haven't been to Beetham, I highly recommend it...such an idyllic village...follow the trail to the Fairy Steps then come back to The Wheatsheaf for a pot of tea or a beer. I cannot recommend the Langtree enough....a gem...in an unspoilt, beautiful setting.

We had a lovely week in the Langtree. The house was spacious and immaculate. A very comfortable front room with wood burner, a lovely dining area and large kitchen. Upstairs was just as nice. We had an en suite, there was a family bathroom and a shower room also. The location was convenient for Windermere and Ambleside. A lovely stay. Would certainly recommend!

I have just come back from a memorable week in Arnside. Langtree was the perfect place to enjoy all that Arnside has to offer; A pleasant 20 minute walk to the promenade meant the property was ideally placed. This coupled with the picturesque 5 minute train journey to Grange meant the car stayed at home most of the time. The house itself is spacious and bright; the en-suite master bedroom afforded views over the bay from above which was an added bonus. The garden has plenty of room to sit and enjoy the late afternoon sun while enjoying a nice glass of wine, a bottle of which was very kindly left by the owners. Our dog Alfie meanwhile enjoyed the enclosed nature of said garden, and we could relax knowing he was safe. The house has many mod cons, and was undoubtedly our ‘home from home’ during our stay. Would I recommend Langtree? Absolutely. Don’t expect me not to be jealous though..

The house is very spacious and plenty room for 8 people in 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Everywhere was spotlessly clean on arrival and we appreciated the welcome pack. the garden was great for kids and the dog, secure and plenty space. the back patio gets all the afternoon sun and enough garden furniture for all. Loads of parking on the drive and conveniently situated for a walk down into Arnside to pubs or shops.

Lovely house with bags of space. 4 good size bedrooms, master bedroom with en suite. Bathroom on landing with bath and shower over. Ground floor shower room with WC. Big lounge diner and good size kitchen with everything you need there. Very clean and tidy loads of parking space. Back garden gets the sun all afternoon till late evening. Big patio and decking area. Lovely big lawn ideal for kids to play. Garden is secure so kids can run free. Well located for Arnside about 10 min stroll away. Two good mini supermarkets nearby. Two good pubs nearby, a chippy and a bakers in village. What’s not to like. We spent two weeks there in July 2020 and we loved it. Arnside is really nice and you are handy for visiting other lakes etc..

House was spotlessly clean and the welcome package was greatly appreciated. The double rooms were very comfortable and we particularly loved the ensuite with corner bath. Great location with a couple of pubs within walking distance. Some great walks on your doorstep...just have a look at the information pack to find the walk to suit your ability. Thanks so much xx

We stayed at Langtree in August 2019 for a weeks break. The house is lovely and a good size for the 8 of us visiting (4 Adults and 4 Children). The owners had also supplied a baby bath, travel cot and high chair without us needing to request. The garden is lovely for a sunny day and enclosed so safe for the children to play. The location is within good driving distance of many attractions such as Windamere, Grange over sands and has a good train service close by. Arnside is small but has a few nice pubs and shops. Whilst we enjoyed our visit we found that some things were not as described for example the master bedroom is described as a king sized double, if isn’t it’s a normal double. The beds themselves could do with replacing as not very comfy, the mattress is the double bedroom was very worn and uncomfortable. The other issue was the cleanliness, the majority of the house was immaculate but unfortunately on arrival we found that oven cleaner had been left in the oven and hadn’t been cleaned properly. We also found used ladies sanitary towels in the en-suite bathroom bin from a previous hirer and had to clean up ourselves.

On arrival this beautiful property had everything. It all felt brand new...a beautiful garden that our grandchildren loved playing in safely behind a closed gate. Views from the property were amazing. Walking distance to Estuary, shops and amenities. We shall definitely return when we revisit Arnside. Thank you to the organised helpful owner/property team.
