The cottage can sleep four people in one king-size double and one twin bedroom with family shower room. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with wood burning stove and balcony. Outside there is roadside parking and a balcony with furniture to enjoy. Bank Cottage is a lovely cottage to use as a base for exploring this lovely part of the country.

This delightful mid-terrace cottage is situated in the market town of Alston in Cumbria. This cottage is situated in an excellent area for exploring a beautiful part of the country. Lovingly refurbished Bank Cottage provides a sumptuous, luxury retreat for that well-earned countryside break. From the front door you step into a well-equipped kitchen with dining area then on to a bright and airy sitting room, a cosy snug and a sleek shower room. A French door from the sitting area leads to a balcony with table and chairs and lovely views of the surrounding area. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a twin and a king-size double. There is also a highchair and stairgate available for those travelling with little ones. Alston is a traditional country town with an array of pubs and shops. With lots to see and do within an hour's drive, including Hadrian's Wall, Beamish open air living museum, Durham Cathedral and the Lake District, this is a the perfect location for a countryside break at any time of the year.
