We had the opportunity to stop at Shatterford Lakes in one of the 6 birth caravans; over looking the top lake Wyre Dell. Firstly I would like to say that we had an amazing few days and nights and would 100% return. I could write a massive post but I will try to keep it on point. Location scenery mind blowing, the lakes are set on a tier system (on a hill with car access so no real issues getting to any of them a little walking in places but if your unfit you can ring Tom, who will put your kit in a trailer on his quad and drop it off pick it up). Accommodation great; gas central heating, gas fire, comfortable beds, fridge freezer, hot cold running water, TV with fire stick, WiFi, decking outside plenty of room for storing tackle, and a hot tub and a stones throw from the lakes. Lakes & fishing, 5* we have fished at Shatterford quite a few times on the top lakes Wyre Dell and Stella and have always enjoyed our time both lakes have some beautiful fish, but we wanted to fish on the syndicate lakes & by stopping at Shatterford this allows you to do that. Would highly recommend; and we will return. Tom is a pleasure so helpful and really dedicated to the lakes the surroundings and to the fish which just made our stay even more special.
