Pub within walking distance, shops and restaurant 3 miles, beach 8 miles.

A short 15 minute walk away is Worstead train station where you can travel on the Bittern Line to the fine city of Norwich or the quaint seaside towns of Cromer or Sheringham. A good area for walking or cycling with the Weavers Way footpath and fine sandy beaches of Sea Palling, Happisburgh and Mundesley nearby. North Walsham, a busy market town and only 3 miles away, is a convenient shopping centre. The capital of the Broads, Wroxham is close by and here you can hire a day boat to explore the waterways, fish or stop for a meal at one of the riverside inns. Leisure facilities: private fishing on the River Thurne by prior arrangement with the owners (June March). This charming cottage welcomes you into the kitchen which benefits from electric oven and hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge. There is a freezer separate to the kitchen area. There is also a handy a dining table and chairs. Leading through to the cosy lounge which has exposed oak beams, a warming wood burner housed in the feature brick fire place and Flatscreen TV / DVD. Steep cottage style stairs takes you to the first floor where you can find a double bedroom with TV and a single bedroom.
