For the outdoor lover, there are many attractions nearby, from the Granite Way Cycle Track, Meldon Reservoir, Meldon Viaduct and, in Spring, bluebell woods. National Trust s Lydford Gorge, horse riding facilities, golf, fishing and the remains of a Medieval Castle are all close by.
