The Medieval Edzell Castle and colourful renaissance garden is well worth a visit as well as Dunnotar Castle near Stonehaven. Golfers are well catered for with two courses close by. Enjoy salmon fishing at nearby Esk and Westwater, Munro baggers can enjoy challenging hikes in Glen Clova and Glen Esk. Take a short trip along the coastline to discover the glorious sandy beaches at nearby St Cyrus and Lunan Bay or go further afield to Stonehaven Beach to explore the rock pools and enjoy an ice cream or fish supper as you walk along the promenade. Take the kids to The Den and The Glen amusement park and visit the surrounding farms in the area including Murton, Wyhford and Charleston with outdoor play areas, farm animals and pick your own strawberries and raspberries. Finally the bathroom with separate shower, corner bath and WC. Venture outside to the fully enclosed front and rear garden with two seating areas and BBQ. Perfect for al fresco dining, or to sit with your morning coffee or a wee dram and gaze up at the night sky. You may also get the opportunity to spot the regular visitors including Roe deer, red squirrels, barn owls, hare, rabbits, red kite and lots of garden birds.
