You can also hire surfboards from the beachfront complex. A few minutes walk around the bay is the imposing Headland Hotel, with its selection of restaurants and spa. The hotel was also the location for the film adaptation of Roald Dahl s The Witches. Newquay town centre is also within walking distance and boasts a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Newquay and its surroundings really do offer something for everyone. This ground floor apartment is decorated in bright and airy seaside style and offers a comfortable base from which to explore the Cornish coast. The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen is the perfect place to relax with its TV/DVD and games console, as well as Wi Fi, and has a door which opens out onto the enclosed patio.
