Twelve miles south of the property, the village of Bigbury on Sea has a beautiful sandy beach, with access across to Burgh Island at low tide, either on foot or by sea tractor. Within a thirty minute drive of the property, the historic city of Plymouth offers boat trips, the National Marine Aquarium, and the waterfront Barbican district with its Mayflower Museum, arts centre, and a choice of pubs and restaurants. Guests entering this attractive, single storey property, will find themselves in the light filled open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where a cosy wood burner keeps the lodge lovely and warm, even in the coolest winter months. The sofa makes a comfortable place to relax, and perhaps enjoy a film on the TV/DVD.
