The town of Axminster is just one mile away with shops, inns, restaurants, sports centre and the famous River Cottage shop opened by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall. The Axe Valley provides lovely walking opportunities along the Dorset and East Devon Heritage coastline. Other towns, villages and attractions include Charmouth, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer, Branscombe, Abbotsbury, Crealy, Bicton Park, Burrows Farm Gardens and several National Trust properties.
