The historical fishing village of Appledore is only a five minute drive, take the seasonal ferry over the estuary to Instow, watch the boats sail by or partake in one of the water sports or just sit with an ice cream and watch the world go by. Other family attractions nearby include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way.
