Those who enjoy getting out and enjoying the surrounding countryside will be spoilt for choice, with many miles of walks, cycle paths, and opportunities to try climbing, abseiling, canoeing, and caving all within easy reach of the property. For a more restful day trip though, why not pay a visit to nearby Abergavenny, which has, in recent years, built an excellent culinary reputation. Three external steps lead to the front door of this property, bringing guests inside this welcoming cottage. The lounge is an attractive dual aspect room, the focal point of which are the views over the canal and to the mountains beyond. There is a warming wood burner in this room, as well as a TV/DVD for guests to enjoy. Meanwhile, the kitchen/diner is a homely room with a dining table at one end and a pleasant kitchen area at the other, offering a double oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The bathroom, with shower and WC, is situated on the first floor of the cottage, as are the property s two bedrooms. The first of these is a cosy double room which has a romantic feel to it, and a sloping ceiling (and therefore some reduced head height). The second bedroom is a restful single room which benefits from its own TV, perfect for late night film watching.
