There are plenty more gentle walks in the area for those who simply want to take in the breath taking scenery, as well numerous opportunities to have a go at canoeing, abseiling, and caving. Two miles south of the cottage, the town of Abergavenny is a popular destination for visitors to the area, and offers a range of independent shops, as well as good range of eateries. This comfortable cottage is a great place to stay and enjoy a holiday in the Brecon Beacons. At the heart of the property is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the mountain views, or perhaps unwind with a film on the TV/DVD. The dining table here seats up to four guests, and the sofa bed can be converted to accommodate two extra guests. The kitchen area, to one end of the room, is well equipped and offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and dishwasher. The shower room, with its corner shower and WC is located just off the lounge area, as is the bedroom: a pleasant king size room which can be set up as a twin room on request, thanks to the zip and link beds. There is an external shared laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests to use. Outside, there is an enclosed patio garden to the front of the cottage.
