The Coast to Coast walk the Southern Upland Way, runs close to the estate and fishing is available on the Whiteadder River, with the River Tweed within easy reach. The cliffs at nearby St Abbs, a designated Nature Reserve, are the breeding and nesting grounds for thousands of sea birds and seals are also common. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the courses at North Berwick, Luffness, Gullane, Muirfield, Archerfield, Goswick and Dunbar or go inland to the Championship Roxburgh course. Enter the charming period cottage through to the light and bright lounge with wood burner, perfect for cosy nights in with TV (SKY Entertainment package available)and DVD with a selection of DVDs and lovely views across the Whiteadder River. Through the front hallway you are also met with a delightful snug/games room, with PlayStation 3, TV/DVD and lovely river views. Leading through from the lounge to the rear hallway is the kitchen/diner, which is well equipped with electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, also the dining area and rear door access to the garden. From the rear hall next to the kitchen is the utility room, with a tumble dryer and freezer. Head up the cottage style steep stairs and you will find a spacious double room and a lovely twin, both with wonderful river and countryside views. Also on this floor you will find the bathroom, with shower over bath and WC, located next to the twin bedroom.
