Haddenham train station is about five miles for links to London/Marylebone, Bicester, Banbury or Warwick, so whilst a car is handy for visits to nearby attractions such as Waddesdon Manor, Hartwell House at Stone or Chiltern Open Air Museum, there is plenty of public transport on hand. Entering the cottage, the first room welcoming you is the large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner; the beautiful beams and limestone floor combine for an elegant and homely space, with underfloor heating making sure that even in winter your feet are kept warm. The lounge features comfortable soft furnishings, including a sofa bed, and a TV/DVD, the ideal space for relaxing in and watching a film after a long day of exploring. The dining table is large enough to seat up to six people, so if you decide to whip up a home cooked meal whilst away there s plenty of room to enjoy it together. The kitchen itself is well equipped with everything you could need, with beautiful worktops and fitted units which make cooking feel anything but a chore ; comprising of an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, it s a stunning space to spend time in. There is also a WC downstairs. On the first floor, there are two spacious bedrooms full of character with beamed ceilings.The master bedroom features a double bed, TV and French doors opening up to a Juliet balcony, whilst the second has twin single beds. The bathroom also has elm beams as a prominent feature of the room, and comprises of a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC. Doors from the lounge lead out to the private patio area, complete with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining in the summer. There is also 270 acres of farmland surrounding the property, so you won t be short of open land to roam around on! There is ample off road parking..
