The village of Hawkshead, with its shops, pubs, and interesting historic buildings, is just 1.5 miles from the apartment, and makes a lovely place to while away an afternoon. This apartment is situated on the ground floor of the owner s home, whilst still providing guest with a high level of privacy. Guests enter the property via the porch which makes a handy place to leave muddy boots before continuing inside to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its lovely countryside views. A sofa and armchair provide comfortable seating here, gathered around the electric coal effect fire and TV. The dining table seating two, is ideal for enjoying a romantic meal, whilst the kitchen to the rear of the room, is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge. The simply decorated, peaceful bedroom with twin beds whilst the adjacent bathroom offers shower over the bath and WC. Outside, there is a beautiful garden, mainly set to lawn, which expansive views to the surrounding countryside. Off road parking is provided for one car and there is secure bike storage available..
