Well worth a visit is Lyme Park and Hall where Pride and Prejudice was filmed in 1995 and Peveril Castle, situated near Castleton built in 1080. Derwent Valley with a picturesque series of dams and reservoirs where the 'dam busters' trained. In the immediate vicinity of Moorfield are the hills, valleys and streams that make up The Peak District National Park.
