Just two miles from the property is the shoreline of Lake Windermere, and the ferry from a where a small car ferry takes visitors across the lake to Bowness. Those who want to enjoy the outdoor pursuits that this area is famous for, will find plenty to do within a few miles of the property, including water sports on Windermere and Coniston Water, the high ropes course and zip wire in Grizedale forest or simply exploring the countryside that inspired Beatrix Potter straight from your doorstep. Entering this cottage through the timber porch, guests will immediately notice the charming interior of this cottage in keeping with its Arts and Crafts heritage.
