There is much to see and do in the nearby town of Tiverton, which has a pretty canal offering boats for hire. Slightly further afield is the city of Exeter, with its wide variety of shops and restaurants. For history lovers Fursdon House and Gardens gives an insight into the heritage of the area. This unique accommodation comprises of a hut and a lodge. Entering the lodge into the lounge area you are greeted with spectacular countryside views, a comfy sofa and TV/DVD. The kitchen area has all you need to cook a meal or whip up a snack with an electric oven and gas two ring hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, a breakfast bar provides a comfortable eating space and French doors open onto the sunny decked area.
