Seafront, pub, and shops all within walking distance. Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars..

The shingle beach at Shoalstone boasts a 53 metre saltwater lido, providing safe swimming whatever the tidal conditions. Just a few more minutes walk around the coast will bring visitors to the town s busy harbour, where they may wish to take a pleasure boat cruise, join a fishing trip, or take the ferry across to the neighbouring resort of Torquay. At the heart of this seafront period cottage is the spacious lounge/diner, an inviting space with glorious sea views which can be enjoyed from the sofas and armchairs, as well as the dining table. There is a TV here too, with SkyTV package. The kitchen, located off the lounge, is contemporarily styled and is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher, whilst the fridge/freezer and washing machine are housed nearby in a separate utility room. A second lounge in the form of a snug room can also be found on the ground floor, and with its TV and sofa bed, it makes a great space for teenagers, or two additional guests. The downstairs shower room with WC is particularly handy if this room is being used as a bedroom. On the first floor of the property, guests will find two of the property s three bedrooms: a twin room and a double room with sea views, as well as a bathroom with bath and WC. The master bedroom suite, which enjoys wonderful sea views, is located for maximum privacy on the second floor of the house, with its double bed and en suite shower room offering a walk in shower and WC. Outside, to the rear of the property, there is a fantastic enclosed garden which is mainly set to lawn and offers plenty of space to relax and listen to the waves crashing, as the coast path lies just beyond the gate at the bottom of the garden.
