Summertime enjoy a cruise along the river Wye, or for the little more adventurous there s rock climbing and canoeing. The forest is at its best in autumn with The Golden Mile where the whole area is a riot of golds and russet. For family fun other attractions include, Dean Heritage Centre, Puzzle Woods and Clearwell Caves, Go ape, the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre and Cyril Hart Arboretum. Take in the views across the valley before you leave your boots at the front door, the inviting hallway offers ample space for coats and shoes with access to the lounge/kitchen/diner.
