It is easy to pop back to base if anything is forgotten. Whilst a few minutes drive, or 15 minutes walk sees you in Torquay s bustling harbour with attractions such as Living Coasts, Cockington Village, A big wheel, the pier and Princess Theatre. Take a ferry to Brixham or Dartmouth or jump on the steam train from Paignton to Kingswear. Heading northwards, takes you past Hopes Nose to Ansty s cove towards Babbacombe and the Cliff railway, Kents Cavern and Model Village. Other attractions and places of interest in the area include the historic naval city of Plymouth, Exeter, famed for its stunning cathedral and shopping, The Princess Theatre, Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor National Park, Torre Abbey, Agatha Christie s Greenacres.
