The coast is never far away and the golden sands of Westward Ho! and Saunton are well worth a visit. Other attractions in the area include the historic Cavalier town of Torrington, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Bideford, and from here you can enjoy day trips to Lundy Island on the MS Oldenburg, Tapeley Park, and numerous National Trust properties. On entering the delightful property you will firstly find yourself in the useful utility/boot room with stunning original flagstone floor with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer however the majority of the accommodation is located on the first floor. The utility/boot room on the ground floor is the perfect place to leave all of your outdoor clothing before ascending the stairs onto the first floor, this immediately opens into a spacious kitchen/diner with breakfast bar and also a separate table and chairs for more relaxed meals.
