Located on the peninsula, Cartmel nestles just six miles south of Lake Windermere. There are plenty of easy walks from the village: you could climb Hampsfell with its panoramic views across towards Morecambe Bay, then descend down to Grange Over Sands or explore the tracks running through Eggerslack Woods. Among the many other highlights of this stunning area are the Grizedale Forest, the vibrant town of Kendal and the wonderful Fell Foot Park. The unassuming exterior of Bank Court belies its fantastic interior. On entering you will find the cosy and chic lounge. Tastefully furnished and featuring an open fire, TV, DVD and iPod dock, this is a room perfect for relaxing in. Crossing the hall, a couple of steps take you down into the dining room. Set for six, this handsome room makes for a grand place to dine with your friends and family. Moving into the kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with all you need to rustle up your favourite meals, including an electric range oven with gas hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee cafetiere, Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine, sandwich toaster, bread maker, slow cooker and food mixer, as well as washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading up to the first floor you will find two double bedrooms. The master bedroom with king size bed overlooks the village square and has an en suite shower/dressing room with WC. The second comfy bedroom also features a king size bed. Also on the first floor is the bathroom with shower over the bath and a WC. Off the bathroom is a fabulous dressing room with dressing table, armchair and chaise longue. A steep, narrow tread stairway leads up to the attic bedroom, with a king size bed which sits under a pitched ceiling. Cosy and comfortable, there is a small en suite WC tucked in under the eaves. Finally from the attic bedroom you duck through to the chillax room. Criss crossed with huge oak beams there s plenty of fabulous furniture and TV, making this a great space for sitting back and relaxing..
