For those with an interest in history and culture there are many places of interest in the local area, including The World of Beatrix Potter, Potter s former home at Hilltop, Wray Castle, and The Ruskin Museum. Stepping through the stone porch, guests staying at this property will come directly to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a welcoming and cosy room with dark wooden beams, and a large stone fireplace with its open fire. This is the perfect spot for guests to relax on the sofa and chairs with a drink and a good book, or perhaps enjoy a favourite programme on the Smart TV. At one side of the room, one step down leads to the kitchen area which is well equipped offering an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine / tumble dryer, Dulce Gusto coffee machine and a dishwasher. The shower room can also be found on the ground floor of the property, offering a shower and WC. Stairs lead to the first floor which is where the bedrooms are situated and another shower room with WC. The first of these is a peaceful double room, whilst the other is a tastefully understated twin room with homely decorative touches.
