The village quay, too, is just a short walk away and in the summer months a ferry runs across the estuary to the neighbouring village of Instow where visitors will find a yacht club and beach. Just two miles from the property, Westward Ho! Boasts a beautiful sandy beach. On entering the cottage, the lounge has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and offers a wood burner, Smart TV (Netflix account available) and DVD, which can all be enjoyed from the comfortable seating. The neighbouring room, the kitchen/diner, has slate flooring, a dining table and is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and coffee machine. There is a useful ground floor shower room with shower and WC. Small boot area and door to the rear courtyard lead off the kitchen. Steep cottage style stairs lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a pretty double, whilst the second is a twin. There is also a bathroom with shower over bath and WC on this floor. Along the landing and up another steep staircase is a spacious king size bedroom with TV and exposed stonework. Outside there is a small courtyard. As is typical in the village, there is no parking attached to the property, but there is roadside parking available close by, or guests may prefer to use local public car parks (local charges apply)..
