Off road parking for 5 cars (please note occasional shared use due to yoga and art studio on site). Pub and shop 1 mile. TV/DVD in the snug. Charcoal BBQ available. Sleeps 8 2 sofa bed in the study (available on request). Private water supply. Chef and Catering available for freezer, dinner and events (by arrangement with the owner). Please note gardener and housekeeping/pool caretaker in attendance.

Should you be able to tear yourself away from the tranquillity of the cottage, you will find many attractions such as Stonehenge, Salisbury and Avebury are easily accessible, ensuring there is no shortage of things to do here. Why not try your hand at fly fishing in the nearby Test Valley or simply enjoy long country walks with your four legged friends. Tucked up a quiet no through lane, a winding path leads you through the beautiful cottage style garden to the front door. A spacious entrance hall with separate WC, piano and wood burner leads firstly into the lounge where you can relax whilst you warm up beside the open fire and take in the character features that are in abundance here. To the right of the hallway is a bright and airy study with sofa bed. Next step into the stunning open plan conservatory/diner where there is a large table, perfect for leisurely meals overlooking the garden. Just next door is the charming country kitchen. This space is well equipped with an AGA, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. An adjacent utility room houses a washing machine and additional fridge. Opposite is a cosy snug with TV and wood burner. From the dining hall head up the first set of steep cottage style stairs to a super king size bedroom. This inviting room has an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. A second winding staircase rising from the entrance hall leads to a cosy twin bedroom (restricted head height in places) and a shower room with a shower and WC. A step down from the second staircase landing brings you into a pretty double bedroom. A third flight of steep and narrow stairs leads from the dining hall to a further twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom with bath and WC (please note this is interlinked with the previous double bedroom with a half sized door). Please note the first floor of the cottage is peppered with low ceilings, level changes and charming character features. Heading outside, the expansive enclosed cottage garden offers a choice of seating areas, pretty borders and rolling lawns. A heated outdoor pool and BBQ create the perfect setting for lazy afternoons (available April October). To the front of the property is the River Dever, which is accessed just across the lane, care to be taken with children and pets when outside of the enclosed garden. For the younger members of the family there is a swing and slide and level lawns ideal for ball games. Off road parking for five cars is available.
