The cottage is also based opposite a friendly local pub, which plays live music over the weekends and also welcomes holidaymakers and their dogs. If you are looking for a day of exploring, a visit to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne comes highly recommended. You can walk the crescent shaped beach and explore the historic castle and priory.
