Within the town are a host of great shops, restaurants and cafes. A little further along the coast are the popular seaside villages of Seahouses and Beadnell. Beadnell is home to a beautiful bay, ideal for water sports. From Seahouses, you can take a short boat trip to the Farne Islands, a sea bird sanctuary with a colony of Atlantic and Grey Seals. On entering this beautiful barn conversion which retains several original features including exposed beams, you will find yourself in the spacious and tastefully furnished lounge. With a feature stone wall and large, arching windows and French doors, this is a light and attractive space, ideal for relaxing in. There s plenty of comfortable seating, a traditional wood burner, TV, DVD and a large bookcase filled with books, games and DVDs. Heading up one step into the attractive and large kitchen/diner, you will find a delightful dining area with seating for up to eight guests, along with a breakfast bar.
