On entering this delightful and cosy cottage, built for the Archdeacon of Lindisfarne in 1706 and retaining several original features, you will find yourself in the pretty and welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Tastefully furnished, with plenty of comfy seating, TV, DVD and a traditional wood burner, the light and airy lounge is an ideal space to relax in after a fantastic day exploring this beautiful area. Stepping outside, you will find the garden is deceptively large and has lots of interesting areas and places to stroll around, with lovely, mature shrubs, fruit trees and roses, including the beautifully romantic, deep cupped, pink 'Alnwick Rose'. There are two separate areas to sit outside and relax: the patio, which is immediately accessible from the kitchen and furnished with a table and chairs and also the sheltered, side courtyard area with park bench style seating.
