Private off road parking for 1 car (2 by prior arrangement). Shop 1 mile; pub and restaurant 1.5 miles; supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and takeaways 2 3 miles. Quiet and secluded location surrounded by gardens and lakes. Grocery pack available from local shop delivered on day of arrival. Storage is available for bikes and kayaks. Please ensure care is taken around the lakes onsite. Regret no children (babes in arms welcome, guests will need to bring own travel cot). Please note, due to the remote location travel by car is essential.

Within easy reach of spectacular and dramatic Dartmoor National Park, the granite outcrops and clitter slopes of Bodmin Moor, the rocky shoreline and sandy beaches of Rame Head, as well as the wildlife haven of the Tamar Valley AONB, shaped by the rivers Tamar, Tavy and Lynher, this is a treasure trove of opportunities for walkers and those wishing to explore this environment. Equally accessible are a range of National Trust locations, including Cotehele, Lanhydrock, Antony and Buckland Abbey. On your doorstep you can escape to the less well known local delights of the St Dominica Heritage Trail, nearby Halton Quay, and Kit Hill with its breathtaking panoramic, far reaching views, taking in Brown Willy on Bodmin Moor to the West, High Willhays on Dartmoor to the East, and the Tamar Estuary to the South. A wide range of moorland, woodland and riverside walks are just a short drive away, as well as local beaches, coastal and market towns, and fishing villages. At the rear of the cottage, step down into the snug bedroom with king size bed, with window framing the view of the lakes, ducks, wildlife and countryside beyond. Outside you have your own area of a shared garden with a secluded seating area where you can take in the views whilst enjoying breakfast, or relax with a drink, basking in the evening sunset. Located in the grounds and to the side of the owner s property you can take advantage of the extensive shared gardens, peaceful countryside and the lakes with the resident ducks, barn owls and other wildlife.
