The real joy of this cottage is it allows guests to explore the pretty cobbled yards of the village and surrounding countryside without ever using the car. This quaint cottage was once the village police house and is tucked away behind the main village square. From the small cobbled yard, guests enter the property directly into the cosy lounge, complete with beams and open fire with slate surround. There is comfortable seating for four to sit and enjoy the TV, perfect for relaxing after a day's exploring the Lake District. Moving through to the spacious kitchen/diner, there is a traditional farmhouse styled kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a dining table which is great for sharing family meals or playing a game. The twisting, narrow staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find the first of the double bedrooms with TV and en suite shower room with shower and WC. Next to this bedroom is the second double bedroom with TV, sloping ceilings and en suite shower room with shower and WC. A parking permit is provided for one car for use in the main village car park..
