Take a short drive to one of the surrounding village pubs or visit the pretty towns of Bradford on Avon and Frome where you will find a good selection of independent shops and restaurants.To the north is the Georgian city of Bath, famed for its stunning architecture and numerous historic sites, including the Abbey and Roman Baths.
