Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..

Take the regular passenger ferry, which runs every fifteen minutes, across to Fowey which offers independent shops, handcrafted jewellery and local art, or relax in a cafe or pub on the riverfront. For outdoor enthusiasts the property is within easy reach of the South West Coast Path and slightly further afield is Cardinham Woods with its waymarked trails through scenic woodland, St Nectans Glen with its breath taking waterfall and rare plant specimens. Alternatively, visit the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Minac Theatre or The Tate at St Ives. Enter the property, on the ground floor, head into the light and airy lounge with comfy sofas and wonderful views over the quay and harbour. After a busy day exploring the area, cosy up in front of the roaring wood burner and enjoy a film on the TV/DVD. Prepare an evening meal or light lunch in the well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. Situated next to the kitchen is the dining room, gather around the table with seating for four. Heading up to the first floor, you will find two bedrooms a king size with views overlooking the quay and harbour and a twin. Completing this floor is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
