Guests are also within easy reach of Dalbeattie and the wonderful market towns of Castle Douglas Scotland s Food Town and Kirkcudbright well known as the artist s town . Enjoy a trip to the castles of Caerlaverock, Drumlanrig and Threave or explore the historic Dundrennan and Sweetheart Abbeys. Golfers will be delighted with an impressive 32 courses in the region or you can just relax and enjoy the area's abundant wild life and the immediate magnificent coastal scenery. Venturing into the fabulous spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with floor to ceiling full length windows, to admire the stunning coastal views. The lounge, with comfortable sofas and French doors leading out to the enclosed decked area, is a great place to perhaps watch a film on the TV/DVD after a day out exploring this stunning area or simply sit back and take in the breathtaking sea views.
