Just a short drive away Saunton Sands boasts an expansive sandy beach, and further afield, sand, sea and surf can be enjoyed at Woolacombe, Croyde and Putsborough. Walking enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with the nearby South West Coast Path, taking you across the spectacular headland to Baggy Point, and with Exmoor National Park within easy reach by car. Other places of interest nearby include Barnstaple, with market and high street shops, Hartland Abbey and the seaside resort of Ilfracombe.
