Its garden has splendid views out over Ullswater and the cottage is set back in an elevated position just half a mile from the road running alongside the lake. The property occupies a truly idyllic location, above Glencoyne Valley, with the slopes of Sheffield Pike behind, leading up to Helvellyn. The cottage is approached along an unmade woodland track and its garden is often visited by an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels, in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You enter the property through a small porch giving onto the open plan pitch pine beamed kitchen/living room. The living area is comfortably furnished with a small sofa drawn facing onto an impressive double doored wood burner.
