Accommodation Details

3 bedrooms 1 king size and 2 singles. 1 bathroom (ground floor). Sorry, not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Access is 100 metres on foot from the parking area, steeply uphill and can be slippery so sensible shoes recommended. Energetic walk.. Parking for several cars available. Steep stairs up to first floor accommodation and limited head room due to beams in parts of the cottage. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Electric and electric heating included. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Wi Fi included. 1 dog welcome to be kept on lead whilst walking up to the property due to livestock close by and the dog has to be well behaved and house trained.. Beach, pub and shop 2 miles. Initial access after dark not recommended, if unavoidable please bring a good torch. Charcoal BBQ available.

With so many activities from swimming to sailing, fishing to horse riding, walking to cycling, and the host of attractions to visit such as King Arthurs Labyrinth, Portmeirion, Welsh castles and Zip World, there is always something to see and do. A perfect location to relax and explore the best North Wales has to offer. Park your car and walk up the private grass and slate footpath between two fields to reach this delightful detached rural retreat. Open the red front door and enter this lovely traditional cottage with exposed beams and inglenook fireplace in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To your right is the creatively designed kitchen with dining table, and if you decide to eat in, the kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to cook in. After dinner, relax on the chairs and sofa in the lounge area, plan your activities or watch a film on the TV. For cosy nights in light the wood burner and lose yourself in a good book. Beyond the kitchen and down some steps you will find the stylish ground floor bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, just perfect to relax in a bubble bath and dry off with soft towels. Beyond the kitchen and bathroom and up the boat steps you will find the mezzanine single bedroom. Up the narrow steep stairs to the first floor is the king size bedroom and a door to the left leads you to one of the single bedrooms. Due to the nature of the conversion there is limited head room in parts of the bedroom. All the bedrooms have lovely views over the garden and towards the Mawddach Estuary and beyond. This detached property nestles into the hillside with fabulous views across the Mawddach Estuary, mountains in the distance and out to the sea beyond. The natural garden has lots of places to sit and relax, the garden is equipped with table and chairs to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon tea and al fresco dining, or maybe fire up the charcoal BBQ. There is parking in the layby for several cars, just 100 yards below the property. Please note the property is accessed via the walled footpath, you will need to carry your luggage up the path which can be slippery in wet weather, strong shoes or walking boots are a must, though it is well worth the effort for this unique experience. 1 dog welcome to be kept on lead whilst walking up to the property due to livestock close by.
